Yiu Lian Dockyards (Shekou) Limited has started its operation at the new yard at
Mazhou Island close to Hong Kong. The yard which is specially designed for
shiprepair and conversion works is one of the biggest shiprepairyards in China.
Yiu Lian Dockyards (Shekou) Limited can offer all kinds of repairs and has very high capacity when it comes to surface treatment and steelrenewal. The yard's location which is less than one hour from Hong Kong (with fast ferry) is ideally located in sheltered waters and with temperatures that seldom drop below 12 degrees. In addition to 2 ULCC/VLCC graving docks, one panamax and one handy size floating docks are available. Ca. 2500M wharf (max draft 13m) equipped with a big no. of cranes with lifting capacity up to 120 t. Repeat jobs for Norwegian Shipowners. |
